PHOTOS: Alex Trebek, 'Jeopardy!' Visit U.S. Bases in Italy, Germany

"Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek is heading to Germany after spending four days with troops and military families stationed in Italy as part of his 13th USO tour. Having met with more than 300 U.S. sailors, airmen and their families, Trebek will continue his search to find military contestants to participate in "Jeopardy!"’s "Salute to the Military" week in 2013.

Alex Trebek, host of TV game show "Jeopardy!," films shout-outs with a group of sailors stationed at U.S. Naval Support Activity in Naples, Italy as part of a two-country, week-long "Jeopardy!" USO tour on October 6. This is Trebek's 13th USO tour since 1987.

Trebek gives an impromptu pep talk to the girls' volleyball team at the high school on base at U.S. Naval Support Activity. Trebek is in the region to bring a touch of home to troops and military families, as well as search for potential candidates to appear in "Jeopardy's" upcoming "Salute to the Military" competition.
