Staff Agencies

Dean of the Faculty staff agencies include the Office of International Programs, the U.S. Air Force Academy Library System, the registrar and the Directorate of Education.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
The Office of International Programs manages the Cadet Summer Foreign Language Immersion Program, the Semester Exchange Aboard Program, the Cadet International Academy Visits Program, the Four-Year International Cadet Program and the Allied Exchange Officer Program. In addition, the OIP serves as the single focal point for the Academy's international affairs, serves as the Academy's foreign disclosure office, processes official passports for Academy personnel and serves as the international military student office for Air Force-directed security assistance training at the Academy. LIBRARY SYSTEM
The Academy's Library System consists of the McDermott Library in the Cadet Area and the Base Library at the Academy's Community Center, as well as departmental reference collections and field libraries in staff agencies. Academy libraries provide reference and research material and reading collections on a collegiate and professional level to support the Academy's curricular and mission needs. REGISTRAR
The registrar provides cadets with the highest quality of service in academic affairs and student affairs. Registrar services include comprehensive information on all academic aspects of the Air Force Academy. Customer services facilitates records requests such as official transcripts and enrollment verification. The Student Academic Services Center offers programs and services such as time management, reading strategies and general study skills that are designed to enhance cadets' academic success. DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION
The Directorate of Education supports the Academy faculty by offering state-of-the-art services in faculty and curriculum development, educational technology, research and assessment, toward a goal of transforming the Academy's educational system into a cooperative, cadet-centered, active learning environment that values the development of Air Force Academy Outcomes (.pdf, 2.5M) in each student.
