I Care Because

I've moved around a lot so I am not able to keep many friends. That means I have to make new ones. But so far, everywhere I go, someone has a problem with me! I have no idea why! I am a very sensitive person who never stands up for themself! I know that's bad, but it's true. I am always afraid of what the end result might be. The sensitive side of me reacts to when people hate me! I give people no reason to dislike me, yet they do. It hurts a lot! Sometimes I will go home and cry for hours wondering what I can do to make it all better! I really don't think there is a solution! People are just this way because it's who they are! But I don't want to be hurt anymore! The rumors spread and people shun me out. I just want to live a happy life without any worries about watching my back!

Someone has to.

Morgan, 16, OH

People always think thats it's not a big deal to be bullied. That everyone goes through it and it's just a part of life. They don't think about how much the words they say or the actions they do may hurt someone. I've been in the position where I've just wanted to give up because I felt like no one in the world wanted me. I still feel like that sometimes. No matter what people say, being bullied is a huge problem, especially if you're a teenager. No one likes to feel like that.
If people stopped and thought about what they said for once and thought over how their next words or actions may effect someone, then maybe we wouldn't have bullying. But people don't, so it's here. But enough is enough. Let's stop bullying right here, right now. It's time for it to end.
