Gary J. Golkiewicz

Special Master Golkiewicz served as Chief Special Master for the United States Court of Federal Claims from October 1, 1988, until April 8,2010. Currently, he serves as a Special Master for the court. Special Master Golkiewicz graduated from Canisius College, receiving a B.S. degree in accounting in 1977, and from Catholic University, receiving a J.D. degree in 1980.

Special Master Golkiewicz formerly served as Chief of Staff to Chief Judge Loren A. Smith of the United States Court of Federal Claims from 1987-1988. Previously, he was a senior attorney at the Court of Federal Claims, 1984-1987; staff attorney with the Grant Appeals Board, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1980-1984; and law clerk with the Securities and Exchange Commission, 1980.

Special Master Golkiewicz and his wife have two daughters. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Bar Association for the District of Columbia, the Federal Bar Association, and the Court of Federal Claims Bar Association.
