Lynn M. Fischer Fox is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Antidumping and Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) Policy and Negotiations in the Import Administration at the Department of Commerce. In this capacity, she oversees the formulation and implementation of policies governing the administration of AD/CVD laws in the United States. She is also responsible for the negotiation and oversight of all U.S. AD and CVD suspension agreements/price undertakings, and the administration of the steel import licensing and statutory import programs.
Ms. Fischer Fox was named Deputy Assistant Secretary for AD/CVD Policy and Negotiations in March 2012.
Prior to joining the Commerce Department, Ms. Fischer Fox worked in private practice as an international trade attorney. She advised parties on issues including trade remedy litigation, trade negotiations, Customs enforcement, trade policy, and international trade disputes.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Fischer Fox served as a Judicial Clerk to the Hon. Judge Paul R. Michel on the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit.
Ms. Fischer Fox received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Economic Theory from the American University. She resides in Washington, D.C., with her husband and children.
