NRC Executive Fleet Vehicle Report

President Barack Obama’s Memorandum on Federal Fleet Performance, dated May 24, 2011, required Federal agencies to disclose any executive fleet vehicles that are larger than a midsize sedan or that do not comply with alternative fuel requirements. The following table lists the five executive fleet vehicles, which are leased and operated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). All of these vehicles are large sedans that utilize alternative fuel. These vehicles are used to transport the five Presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed Commissioners (one of whom is designated by the President as Chairman of the Commission), as well as the NRC’s 27 most senior career service executives and their staff, to meetings, hearings, and other locations for official business in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
