05/26/2008 A Shamokin woman was flown via Life Flight helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, and her husband was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the pair crashed an ATV down an estimated 50-foot to 75-foot embankment near'The Mile' stripping pit, police said. A State Police spokesman said the 38 year-old woman was driving with her husband, also 38, in the stripping area near'The Mile' when their ATV went over an embankment covered with large rocks.
