To qualify for these positions you must meet the academic criteria specified below. In addition, an ideal candidate would possess basic skill in using office automation programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, or other desktop software programs. Additionally, the ability to organize work and communicate effectively in a professional environment are highly desirable traits. To qualify at the GG-03 pay level: You must be a high school graduate with 1 to 29 semester hours of college credit. To qualify at the GG-04 pay level: You must be a high school graduate with 30 or more semester hours of college credit. To qualify at the GG-05 pay level: You must be a high school graduate with 60 or more semester hours of college credit. If you are a Graduate Student, your pay level will be based on your undergraduate GPA or the graduate level program you are pursuing.

Applications will be accepted from United States citizens who are degree seeking students enrolled at least half-time in accredited educational institutions. Half-time enrollment is defined by the educational institution. For institutions that do not have a definition of half-time, half of full-time enrollment will be considered half-time.

Qualifications are based on your academic standing as of the end of the 2012/2013 academic year (~May/June 2013).

If a wavier is granted, the successful completion of a background investigation and favorable adjudication are required for continued employment. If you have resided outside the U.S. for an extended period of time, the agency may not be able to (1) grant the 145(b) waiver where the required investigation cannot be completed in a timely manner, or (2) achieve timely completion of the background investigation required for a security clearance.
