Las Vegas Electronic Crimes Task Force
The Las Vegas Electronic Crimes Task Force (LVECTF), hosted by the U.S. Secret Service and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Cybercrimes Unit, combats computer-related crimes.
As Las Vegas continues to experience high population growth, the local and federal law enforcement community has seen an increase in complicated criminal investigations. The LVECTF combines the expertise of both local and federal law enforcement officers well-versed in the investigation of financial and computer related crimes, as well as that of participants from the private and academic community.
The LVECTF also offers the community a resource for local contacts, cyber security concerns and information on the prevention of economic loss.
