Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute Is Accepting Applications For Internship & Fellowship Programs For Spring 2013; Ros-Lehtinen Encourages Students & Young Professionals To Participate

Washington, DC- Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen released the following statement in support of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) Global Leaders Internship and Fellowship Program for Spring 2013. Said Ros-Lehtinen:
“I commend the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute for playing a vital role in developing the next generation of leaders and I admire their enthusiasm in undertaking this important endeavor.
For over nine years, CHLI has helped many young Hispanic-Americans, and provided them with the necessary tools to succeed in today’s increasingly globalized world.
Through CHLI’s Global Leaders fellowship and internship program, students from across our nation have expanded their professional horizons and enhanced their understanding of both the public and private sectors.
As a CHLI board member, I am proud of the great opportunities that this organization provides to our future leaders. I encourage students and young professionals from the United States to apply to CHLI’s programs for Spring 2013.”
