CFC-50 Commission

As the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2011, U.S. Office of Personnel Management Director John Berry has formed the CFC-50 Commission to ensure the program's continued growth and success. The Commission shall make recommendations to Director Berry on strengthening the integrity, the operation and effectiveness of the CFC. It is an advisory committee composed of Federal employees, private campaign administrators, charitable organizations and "watchdog" groups.

Issue Areas

The Commission's activities shall include, to the extent permitted by the law

  1. reviewing the present structure of the CFC and recommending changes;
  2. reviewing current processes and recommending changes;
  3. developing recommendations for innovative ways to improve the CFC;
  4. developing recommendations for changes to the regulations and/or legislative to improve the CFC.
