REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

THE TOWN OF GUTTENBERG IN THE COUNTY OF HUDSON, STATE OF NEW JERSEY is requesting proposals for the providing of accounting services. Copies of the documents setting forth the scope of services, contract terms and conditions, proposal requirements, criteria for evaluation of proposals, and proposal submission requirements may be obtained from the Municipal Clerk of the Town of Guttenberg by telephoning the Clerk at 201-868-2315 or by visiting his offices at 6808 Park Avenue, Guttenberg, New Jersey, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Proposals will be accepted up to 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Friday, September 11, 2009.

Mayor James Hannon

JAMES J. HANNON GUTTENBERG James J. Hannon, 75, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen. Born in New York City he lived in Guttenberg for the past 45 years. James was the former mayor of Guttenberg in 2008. He was an Air Force veteran serving his country during the Korean war. Beloved husband of Patricia (Hanks) Hannon; devoted father of James, George, Christopher, Timothy and Terrance Hannon; dear brother of Thomas Hannon; loving grandfather of Erin, PFC Joseph, Matthew, Laura, Sandra, Brianna, Nicholas, Deven, Justin, Matthew and Ian; greatgrandfather of Cameron and Daniel.

Visitation on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at the Vainieri Funeral Home. Mass will be offered on Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, West New York, at 10:15 a.m. Interment, William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
