Description of Project
Description of Project: The proposed project is for the installation of two (2) 1000 kW diesel fueled emergency generators in the Freight Building on the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) campus. The generators will supply emergency electrical power to the BEP Main and Annex Buildings. The mechanical power output of each of the MTU Onsite Energy 1000-XC6DT2 diesel engine-generator sets is 1495 boiler horse power (bhp). The project also includes the removal of a 400 kW emergency generator.
