Why Should I Participate in EXPO

Visit! Volunteer! Participate!

The Health & Safety EXPO is a sharing of information, equipment, supplies, success stories in the area of safety and health. Work groups from the Hanford site and across the United States share what they are doing to improve their performance in the safety and health areas. Vendors exhibit their safety and health-related products and equipment, and explain or demonstrate the proper way to use them. This is an opportunity to interact directly with vendors, observe presentations, and participate in demonstrations.Safety EXPO Photo

The Health & Safety EXPO is about the value we place on life.  Everything about our lives is dependent on how healthy we are in body, mind, and spirit.  One accident can make an incredible difference. Everything we now take for granted can be changed forever in the space of one tiny second.

EXPO promotes all aspects of Safety and Health. It provides a way for employees to get involved and for managers to be better leaders. Lessons Learned, Safety Programs, success stories, and methods of working safely will be discussed at EXPO. Also, the local hospitals, private therapists, and the Hanford Fire Department will have exhibits to discuss various aspects of health and safety. Free booth space, free admission, and free parking is available. Bring your co-workers, your families, and your friends!

If you have any questions about attending, volunteering, or registering a booth, please contact Owen Berglund (509) 376-9035 or (509) 308-4962, or Butch Parker (509) 948-9984
