Dr. Jayne Greenberg, member of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, is the District Director of Physical Education and Health Literacy for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Throughout her professional education career, she has served as Special Advisor on Youth Fitness to the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports; President of the Florida Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance and Sport; chaired the Sport Development Committee for the United States Olympic Committee, USA Field Hockey; coordinated the Olympic Torch Relay Miami Leg for the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City; and assisted the Department of Health and Human Services in the development of I Can Do It, You Can Do It, a national initiative to address the physical activity levels of youth with disabilities.

Fun Facts
- I was an athlete in college, and played Volleyball, Basketball and Softball.
- I am an avid scuba diver and have dived as far as Fiji. When travelling internationally, my clothes get checked and my scuba gear comes on board with me.
- I have always wanted to study underwater archeaology, as I have a fascination with the history of sunken ships.
