ETA Requests States Designate Areas of Substantial Unemployment for Program Year 2012 Allotments

The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has asked the states to designate Areas of Substantial Unemployment in order for the agency to allot funds under WIA for the period beginning on July 1, 2013.
States should ensure that their forms are received in the ETA and Bureau of Labor Statistics' national offices by October 12, 2012.
