DOE WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU!

If you have a question or concern about your claim or just need additional information on our Self-Insurance for Workers’ Compensation at the Hanford Site, the Department of Energy (DOE) wants to hear from you.  Our mission is to improve communication among DOE, DOE's third party administrator, Penser North America, Inc (Penser) and between the covered site contractors, Washington State Labor and Industries (L&I), the site occupational medical provider, medical offices, and the claimants.Hanford Workers

I am the Program Manager Hanford Site Workers' Compensation.  I am the Department’s full-time advocate to manage a proactive program and work with claimants and DOE’s third party administrator, Penser to ensure a smooth process.  I will identify and make improvements and dialogue with claimants to ensure they are provided up-to-date information on the status of their claims.

This webpage has been developed to provide information and tools to assist individuals with information and resources on the workers' compensation program at Hanford. On this webpage, you will find links to a variety of information, including links to L&I and Penser websites, workers’ compensation guidance documents, and other related topics.

Thank you for visiting the Self-Insurance for Workers' Compensation at the Hanford Site home page. I hope you find the information contained on this website useful and that you return frequently for updates. I welcome suggestions on enhancements to our efforts on this subject. I am confident that working together we can continue to make improvements. If you have any questions, or suggestions, please contact me at (509) 376-1525 or by email at julianna_w_yamauchi@rl.gov.  For detailed claim information, please call Penser to talk to a claims adjudicator, at (509) 420-7290 or by email at pattyh@penserna.com.
