Consequences of a Republican Tea Party Middle Class Tax Increase

Saying NO to the bipartisan Senate compromise will mean:

An immediate tax increase on 160 million Americans that would total $1,000 for the average American working family over 2012.

2.2 million Americans who currently receive federal unemployment insurance or would have begun to receive it will be cut off by the middle of February.

Many seniors will be denied care due to a 27.4% Medicare physician payment cut.

The only thing standing in the way of a middle class tax cut is Tea Party Republicans in the House with their latest made-up crisis just days before Christmas.
