The Office of Communications oversees a comprehensive energy information dissemination program that provides high quality information in a timely manner that can be accessed by all types of EIA's public and private audiences. This Office also oversees the application of web-based technology to successfully execute the EIA mission and serve the agency's extensive customer base.
The Energy Information Administration (EIA), is seeking a motivated and highly qualified candidate for an exciting full-time permanent position located in the Office of Communications. This office supports the mission of EIA by managing the agency’s external website, employee intranet, customer contact center, printing/publication/graphics programs, media relations and press services, customer surveys and usability testing, energy education programs for students and teachers, and is the EIA point of contact/coordinator for FOIA/GAO/IG liaison, correspondence controlled at the Department level, Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA), Congressional testimony/related activities, directives and conference management.
