Maryjean Buhler, Chief Financial OfficerThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the direction of all budgeting, financial, and strategic management operations for the BBG, and serves as the point of contact and liaison officer on budget and financial matters with the Office of Management and Budget, Treasury Department, the Government Accountability Office, and other government agencies.

Maryjean Buhler is an accomplished financial executive with over 20 years of experience in leading and re-engineering multi-million dollar federal and local government budgets, financial management systems, acquisition processes, and accounting and financial analysis efforts. Most recently, Ms. Buhler served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer in the Executive Office of the President which includes the White House, Office of the Vice President, Office of Management and Budget and the National Security Council. She managed and directed the financial and reporting activities of the EOP’s approximately $1 billion budget and led staff activities in budget, accounting operations, financial systems, travel management and accounts payable functions.

Maryjean holds an M.B.A. from California Lutheran University and a B.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager.
