WISCONSIN BALLOT DEADLINE EXTENDED BY FEDERAL JUDGE
Deadline for military and overseas voters extended
March 26, 2012 — Arlington, Va. – Wisconsin military and overseas voters from 65 localities have extra time to return their absentee ballot for the Presidential Preference Primary on April 3, 2012. Sixty-five townships missed the legal deadline to send ballots to military and overseas voters. Voters from those areas will have extra time to return their ballots. All ballots must be signed and postmarked by Election Day, April 3, 2012 and must be received by the local election official by April 6, 2012. If you've submitted an absentee ballot request but still haven't received your ballot, use the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) at FVAP.gov. Access this online back-up ballot system at www.fvap.gov/map.html, and then select, "Get My Ballot Now". The online back-up ballot will contain the candidate list.
