Traffic Advisory: S. Rampart at Poydras Street Lane Restriction

NEW ORLEANS — Today, the City of New Orleans issued a traffic advisory for the intersection of S. Rampart St. and Poydras St. beginning Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 a.m. and lasting through the end of the week. The traffic restrictions will be in place to accommodate the repair of a damaged drainage line at the intersection.

Parking Instructions and Traffic Reminders for Events on Weekend of Dec. 3-4

NEW ORLEANS – Today, the City of New Orleans issued parking instructions and reminders in advance of events scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 through Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016. The public is encouraged to be patient and prepared for delays by making transportation arrangements accordingly.

NOLA FOR LIFE, City Health Department, Partners Host Fourth Annual Youth Violence Prevention Summit

NEW ORLEANS – Today, the New Orleans Health Department and partners hosted the fourth annual Youth Violence Prevention Summit at the Andrew P. Sanchez & Copelin-Byrd Multi-Purpose Center at 1616 Caffin Ave in New Orleans, as a part of Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s comprehensive murder reduction strategy, NOLA FOR LIFE.
