Request for Electricity Rate Raise for Low Voltage Power Service Customers
(Households, Stores, Offices) (Under application for approval)

We would like to express our appreciation to all of our customers.

We, TEPCO, are making concerted efforts towards important issues such as "Compensation for those afflicted by the accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Station," "Maintaining stable condition and decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station," and"Securing stable electricity supply." At the same time, we have been engaged on streamlining our business.

Under the current severe situation, we would like to ask our low voltage (100 volts or 200 volts) power service customers such as households, stores, offices to accept an increase in electricity rates. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the inconvenience and burden.

We will promote the streamlining and continue to make our utmost efforts to secure stable electricity supply.
We appreciate your understanding.
