9/6/2012 - MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. (AFNS) -- Officials at the Air Force Culture and Language Center, part of Air University's Spaatz Center at Maxwell Air Force Base Ala., are now taking applications for the fall session of its "Introduction to Culture" course.

Enrollment began Sept. 6 and continues through Oct. 3. This general education course introduces Airmen to the principles of culture in the Air Force context. It fulfills three resident hours of social science or program elective credit in the Community College of the Air Force program.

ITC is an entirely online, self-paced course, and is offered at no charge to enlisted active duty, Air Reservists or Air National Guardsmen enrolled in a CCAF program. The fall 2012 class begins Oct. 11 and ends Jan. 16, 2013.

ITC is one of two CCAF-credit courses offered by the AFCLC. Enrollment for the second course, Cross-Cultural Communication, will begin Oct. 4. Courses are delivered via AU's web-based Blackboard Learning Management System. Internet access is required. For more information on these courses, e-mail afclc.enroll@maxwell.af.mil or see the website at www.culture.af.mil/courses.

I did this course when it was offered last semester. What a disaster. I hope they've worked out all the issues with tests and all the other issues everyone else was having.
