The CBP AES system will experience a 78-hour outage during the cutover to the new AES Redesign requirements. The AES outage will take place from 12:01 AM EST June 5 to 06:00 AM EST June 8, 2004.

AESDirect will also be unavailable during that period. The AESDirect Service will be unavailable from 11.00 pm EST June 4th to allow all shipments to be submitted to AES prior to the outage. AESDirect will become available as soon as we are advised that the AES system is back on line.

When AESDirect becomes available it will be processing all submission according to the AES Redesign requirements.
