This weekend AESDirect introduced changes to the way that some data validations are performed and displayed in the WWW application. This changes do not effect the nature of the validations just the way it they are executed and displayed.

These validations are now done through embedded functions within the client browser component, instead of by the AESDirect Service Centre. This will make them quicker and the AESDirect Service more efficient for all users.

Validations effected are:

• Retrieve Shipment
• Delete Shipment
• Create USPPI
• View USPPI
• Create Consignee
• View Consignee

When you attempt to submit these requests to the AESDirect Service Centre the browser will validate the request for completeness before submitting it to the Service Centre. It will display a message if an error is found.

If you receive one of these error messages, click Ok, correct the error, and re-submit.
