Rep. Cravaack - MEDIA ADVISORY

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Chip Cravaack (MN-8) will attend the Rendezvous Festival this Saturday in Duluth’s Lester Park, with media availability at 2 p.m. to discuss job creation and the economy.

Where: Lester Park, Duluth (Rep. Cravaack will be located at a booth near the pavilion) 

Why: A discussion on job creation and the economy with the people of the Eighth District

“Since I was entrusted to serve Minnesota’s 8th District , I have kept my promise to provide my constituents unprecedented access to their representative to Washington, including thirteen town hall meetings, 8 tele-town hall conferences, mobile offices in over 110 Minnesota cities, numerous roundtable discussions, and three permanent district offices where we conduct office hours – anyone can schedule an appointment,” said Rep Cravaack.  “My primary focus is to create more jobs for the 8th District; I look forward to continuing this conversation with my constituents.”

Congressman Cravaack serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee – where he is Vice Chair of the Aviation Subcommittee – the Homeland Security Committee, and the Science, Space and Technology Committee. The 8th Congressional District covers 18 counties in Northeast Minnesota.
