Rep. Bruce Braley spoke to school children at George Washington Carver School in Dubuque, Iowa on March 30, 2012 to promote the federal version of Kadyn's Law, legislation modeled after Iowa's recently enacted "Kadyn's Law," named after Kadyn Halverson, 7, of Kensett, Iowa, who was killed in 2011 after she was struck and killed by a pickup truck that ignored school bus warning lights.
