City offices closed for Thanksgiving holiday
City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Lewisville will kick off the Christmas season with its annual Holiday at the Hall celebration on Saturday, Dec. 1, in Old Town Lewisville.
KLB project yields 1.25 acres of planted wildflowers
On Oct. 27, in conjunction with National Make a Difference Day and National Planting Day, 133 volunteers with Keep Lewisville Beautiful worked to make Lewisville a more beautiful place to live by planting 1.25 acres of Texas native wildflower seeds and more than 250 wildflower potted plants that will bloom late spring and early summer of next year.

Trinity Trash Bash to clean up local waterways Nov. 17
Hoping to raise awareness and appreciation of the Trinity River, Lewisville Lake and their respective shorelines, Keep Lewisville Beautiful, the City of Lewisville, the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area and Kayak Power are teaming up to host KLB’s 21st annual Trinity Trash Bash waterway clean up on Saturday, Nov. 17, 8 to 11 a.m., at the Lake Park catfish picnic area.
