One of the proudest moments as your Representative is when I get to announce the U.S. Military Academy nominees from the 6th District of Tennessee. I want to ensure that every high school student who is interested in attending a U.S. Military Academy has all the information he or she needs to apply for next school year. On September 22nd, I am hosting my annual Academy Day for all high school students and their parents who are interested in learning more about the application and nomination process for the U.S. Air Force, Merchant Marine, West Point or Naval Academies.
If you know a student living in the 6th Congressional District who might be interested in applying, please be sure to send them the information below.
What: Academy Day
When: September 22, 2012 at 9:00 AM (meet & greet): 10 AM program starts
Where: Wilson Central High School (419 Wildcat Way, Lebanon, TN 37090)
