Phyllis: I think watching me as he grew up, maybe it had a small impact on him.
Antoine: I think it had a big impact on me, because just seeing her working sometimes two jobs and still going to school, that let me know when I got older, that even though things were going to be hard, you still have to go to school and get your education. And if she can do it, then I can do it.
Phyllis: He's focused now. Has a family. I can see him really mature now, and I'm pretty sure the Army had a lot to do with that. So, yes, I think the Army was a very good choice for his career.
Antoine: You get structure being in the Army. You get discipline. And you know how to live your life according to certain morals that the Army goes by.
Antoine: As long as you have the passion to do what you want to do in life, then the Army's going to help you do that.
