Jefferson Overseas Schools Technology Institute
for American-Sponsored Overseas SchoolsWhat: The Jefferson/Overseas Technology Institute (JOSTI)* is an annual five-day technology training experience for overseas educators. JOSTI offers training in two strands:
• Instructional Integration for Teachers (K-12)
• Real Techies Only!
There will be a special emphasis on virtual learning, highlighting collaborative communities and shared resources.
When: June 22-June 26, 2009
Who: JOSTI is for educators who wish to increase awareness, understanding and use of technology. Administrators, technology staff, librarians and teachers are invited to apply.
A/OS member schools may send one or more participants. Technology training will open to 75 participants. One participant per school will be given first priority; others will be enrolled on a space-available basis.
Where: JOSTI is held at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Fairfax, Virginia.To apply:
