2.0 Site Status Summary

Facility is located in the eastern Colorado plains. The facility receives hazardous waste, TENORM and mixed wastes for land disposal, and was first permitted for hazardous waste in 1980, and for TENORM in 2005. The D&D plan is specific for radiation components, in addition to RCRA requirements. Designated by Rocky Mountain Low Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact as regional facility for TENORM.
