April Saylor - Digital Outreach Strategist, Office of Public Affairs
April has supported the Digital Communications Office in the Office of Public Affairs since January 2011 in a variety of roles, most recently as the first Department-wide online outreach specialist. Prior to joining the Energy Department, she spent a year working with the political team at an environmental nonprofit in Washington, D.C. A graduate of American University and Iowa native, in her free time April can usually be found waiting in airports (as she's nearly always en route to visit friends and family located across the country) and desperately trying to keep her tomato plants alive.
