Angola was the United States' 30th largest supplier of goods imports in 2011.

U.S. goods imports from Angola totaled $13.6 billion in 2011, a 13.9% increase ($1.7 billion) from 2010.

The five largest import categories in 2011 were: Mineral Fuel and Oil (crude oil) ($13.4 billion), Precious Stones (diamonds) ($169 million), Special Other (returns) ($3 million), Optical and Medical Instruments ($116 thousand), and Plastic ($7 thousand).
