Secretary of State Colin L. Powell told a radio audience in the Middle East that the United States is fully committed to seeing a Palestinian state within three years if necessary steps are taken.
In an exclusive interview with Mouafac Harb, news director for Radio Sawa (www.radiosawa.com), Powell urged listeners to take note of the “requirements we will have as we move forward to end the (Israeli) occupation and settlement activity, return revenues to the Palestinian government, and make life better for the Palestinian people.”
