• ARP 4761, Guidelines and Methods for Conducting the Safety Assessment Process on Civil Airborne Systems and Equipment
  SAE International standard. Defines a process for using common modeling techniques to assess the safety of a system as it is being designed or modified. SAE charges for this document.
• FAA Order 5200.11, FAA Airports (ARP) Safety Management System
  Provides the basis for implementing SMS within the FAA Airports line of business.

  Provides guidance for setting up common safety management systems within the Agency.
