Policy and Special Projects
The Policy and Special Projects team:
- Provides program direction and implements human resources (HR) policies throughout the Bureau
- Employs technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, including electronic government recruitment and staffing systems
- Provides management advice and recommendations concerning all operational aspects of human resource management
- Provides advice, guidance, information products, and support services for staff of the HR offices, managers, and employees
- Serves as liaison and fosters relationships with Departmental and Bureau counterparts to participate in the formulation of new concepts, policies, and procedures
