The Material Measurement Laboratory's work in the biomedical and health fields provides the underpinning measurement science, standards and technology needed to increase the accuracy, comparability and efficacy of measurements used in medical diagnostics and advanced therapeutics in ways that enable reduced U.S. health care costs and improve quality of life through more informed medical decision making.
