Mr. Stan Daise is dual-hatted as an Associate Director of Small Business for the Installations & Logistics Department and as the Director of the U.S. Marine Corps Small Business Program. As Director he is responsible for management and oversight of the Marine Corps Small Business Program, ensuring strategies and initiatives are implemented that will secure optimal prime contract and subcontract opportunities for small businesses.

Mr. Daise worked as a Procurement Analyst in a project office with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), responsible for the procurement of air and surface surveillance radars. Prior to his current assignment, he was an Associate Director of Small Business Programs with the Army Contracting Agency – ITEC4. During a rotational assignment, he was a contract specialist for the Movement Tracking System (MTS) used by the Army to enhance logistics tracking capability. He is Level III certified in the contracting specialty and is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.

Mr. Stan Daise completed the Harvard University Program for Senior Executive Fellows. He is a graduate of the Army Management Staff College, Sustaining Base Leadership and Management Program. He completed the Program for Executives in Logistics and Technology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School. Mr. Daise earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wilberforce University. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Maryland University College.

During his career, he has received numerous awards including the, HQDA Small Business Program Commander’s coin, The Army Contracting Agency Commander’s Award, and the HQDA Fiscal Year 1993 Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Team of Excellence Award. He was awarded the Secretary of the Navy’s Cup for outstanding small business program for FY 2009. Under his leadership, the Installations and Logistics Department was recognized as the first Naval Command to achieve the Federal goal of 3 percent of contract awards to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
