The Tri-City Development Council (TRIDEC) is pleased to invite you to attend the William D. Ruckelshaus Center Center's Collaborative Problem Solving Symposium/Luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, Wash. from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The William D. Ruckelshaus Center is a neutral forum for collaborative problem solving that combines resources from Washington State University and the University of Washington.

This symposium will serve as a forum for the exchange of thoughts among the Tri-Cities community and the William D. Ruckelshaus Center in regards to collaborative problem solving. It will feature presentations on recently completed and on-going projects conducted by the William D. Ruckelshaus Center, as well as remarks by a distinguished slate of guest speakers including Bill Ruckelshaus and Senator Slade Gorton. This is a great networking opportunity for everyone and provides a forum for educating the community on the benefits of the collaborative problem solving processes. TRIDEC members will have an opportunity to exchange thoughts with the panel on collaborative problem-solving.   "Citizens are turning to these collaborative processes with increasing frequency in the West as they realize that in many cases they are the only path out of gridlock."- Bill Ruckelshaus, Advisory Board Chair   For more information about the William D. Ruckelshaus Center, visit http://ruckelshauscenter.wsu.edu/.

RSVP Symposium/Luncheon fee is $30 for TRIDEC members through this Friday, December 5.  Cost is $40 for non-members and anyone registering after Dec. 5.   RSVP  to (509) 735-1000 or email kkesler@tridec.org.

Thank you Washington River Protection Solutions for your premier sponsorship of this event.
