Location: Red Lion Hotel, Richland, WA

Every two years, Washington Policy Center travels the state and holds Regional Small Business Forums in an effort to help educate small business owners on the latest policy changes affecting how they run their business.

TRIDEC, along with other local organizations co-sponsor WPC's business events and encourage small businesses in the region to attend this event.

Forum participants will hear from WPC research staff and leading policymakers as they discuss past legislative changes, preview the 2009 Legislative Session, and discuss how the election may affect you and your business. This WPC event represents one of the best chances to interact with WPC's non-partisan research staff to get your questions answered and to arm yourself with the research and data needed to engage in the public policy debate.

Cost is $25 ($20 for WPC members).  Price includes meal and forum materials.  Attendees will hear from health care panelists Senator Karen Keiser, Chair of the Health Care Committee for the Senate, and Rep. Bill Hinkle, ranking Republican member on the Health Care Committee for the House; will learn about improving Washington's business tax; and how to avoid "Eco-fads" while making your business green. TRIDEC encourages local business owners, people working for small businesses, concerned citizens,  media, and elected officials and candidates to attend.
