Tri-Cities Research District signing ceremony

Location: Richland, WA
Representatives from Battelle, Port of Benton, and Solaris Group, who represent ownership of the mostly undeveloped land in north Richland, will be participating in a signing agreement with a Portland architectural firm in the Battelle Auditorium located on the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's campus.
The Portland architectural firm will be preparing a master plan to help define development plans for the District's land.
The event is open to the public and a reception will follow the signing ceremony. The TCRD's goal is to bring together resources from government, education, and the private sector to foster the development, promotion, financing, and operation of technological and scientific applications for the benefit of economic development and diversification of the Tri-Cities area.
