The Three Rivers Entrepreneur Network, co-sponsored by the City of Richland, presents its March meeting topic entitled "Alternative sources of financing for companies in transition: a non-traditional approach" presented by Aequitas Capital Management (ACM). The talk will be presented by John Sumpter from ACM, an investment firm providing private equity and commercial finance products to the middle market, healthcare, and energy sectors.

ACM's service provides valuable information to individuals who own businesses that are currently in transition (i.e.: trying to grow or decrease in size, looking to be bought out, searching for acquisitions, etc.). John will cover how companies like ACM work, and how entrepreneurs can most effectively gain access to their valuable services.

There is no charge to attend. You must pre-register by Friday, March 14 to attend. Space is limited, so register early. A continental breakfast will be provided.

About the Speaker

John Sumpter is the Managing Director for Aequitas Capital Management (ACM). John joined ACM, an Oregon-based fund management and investment banking firm, and opened their Seattle operations in January 2006. In his role, John assists companies with equipment, project and acquisition financing, complete capital restructuring, financing for strategic growth and with financial, ownership and management transitions. He handles a wide range of financings and restructurings for middle-market companies in Washington and throughout the U.S. Prior to joining Aequitas, John was Finance Program Manager at Carrier Corporation, working with both United Technologies and Carrier Corporation focusing on commercial and industrial project finance and energy and infrastructure projects.
