Army's Shades of Green now offers Disney Parks program for military

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL, 10/28/10 - The Shades of Green-an Armed Forces Recreation Center located on the Walt Disney World Resort-is now offering the Disney Parks' "Let the Memories Begin" program for military personnel, providing special offers on theme park tickets and accommodations.

On Shades of Green, now through 28 September 2011, active and retired U.S. military personnel (including active and retired members of the United States Coast Guard, National Guard and Reservists) or their spouses can purchase:

Aca,!Ac Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper Option for $138 each, plus tax,

Aca,!Ac Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Water Parks Fun and More Option for $138 each, plus tax, and/or

Aca,!Ac Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper and Water Parks Fun and More Options for $165 each, plus tax.

In addition, Shades of Green will be offering a 3 day, 4 night Veteran's Day room package that includes three breakfast and dinner buffets (double occupancy) during the month of November. Children 9 years old and younger eat free.

Armed Forces Recreation Centers are managed by the Army's Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command, and offer resort-style accommodations to eligible military patrons and their Families on a sliding scale-making first-class vacations affordable for service members of all ranks.
