U.S. Assistant Secretary for Special Education to Address Lehigh University Special Education Law Symposium

Assistant Secretary Alexa Posny will deliver remarks on "Special Education Law from Policy to Practice: A Conversation with Stakeholders” at the Special Education Law Symposium Sunday at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. Posny will discuss current Education Department initiatives related to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.

Among those attending will be special education coordinators, teachers, principals, psychologists, parent advocates, attorneys, hearing officers and others interested in the education of students with disabilities.
