Assistant Secretary for the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education Deb Delisle will moderate and serve as a panelist on education reform during a discussion at the Asia Society Partnership for Global Learning Conference at 8:30 a.m. Sat., June 30 in Brooklyn. At a session titled “Learning with the World: Implementing Reform from an International Perspective,” Delisle will talk about the Department’s education reform initiatives and its cradle-to-career efforts to ensure that students are ready to compete in the 21st century global economy.

The Asia Society Partnership for Global Learning annual conference is dedicated to preparing American students to be globally competent and ready for college. The two-day event connects educators, business leaders, policymakers and resource providers to share best practices, build partnerships and advance policies to ensure the next generation is ready to lead in an interconnected world.
