Since our earliest beginnings, America's lands, coasts, rivers, forests, and mountains and the resources they hold have helped to define who we are as individuals and as a nation. They have also been a source of America's wealth and provide places to reflect, relax, recreate, and create lasting memories. Unfortunately, we find ourselves increasingly cut off from this rich legacy. America's Great Outdoors is a grassroots approach to protecting our lands and waters and reconnecting all Americans to their natural and cultural heritage.
