“The class here is intended to educate the ANA corps medics on the basics of preventative medicine,” said Navy Chief Petty Officer Joseph Ludi, METT chief hospital corpsman and senior lab mentor. “They can take what they learn here out to the Kandak level, and from there down to the platoons.”

An Afghan National Army Commando public affairs officer takes notes on how to use a radio editing program during a class Oct. 31 at Camp Shaheen, near Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan.
