All active duty permanent party personnel newly assigned or attached to units, directorates and activities associated with Fort Rucker will attend the ACS Newcomers' Welcome held every third Friday of the month. This is a mandatory program with attendance by Soldiers required no later than two months after arrival. Family members, civilian employees, and contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. Free childcare is available at the Child Development Center when reservations are made no less than 24 hours prior to the event; Call (334) 255-3564. Fort Rucker Gate Hours: Access Control Points
Ozark, Enterprise and Daleville Gates are open 24/7. Newton & Faulkner Gates are open from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and closed on weekends and holidays.
- If in the inspection lane, have your driver's license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance ready
- At night, turn on the interior light of the vehicle to enable security personnel to visually check the vehicle
